Éda Meggyesházi
Éda Meggyesházi was born in 1984 in Budapest, Hungary. She is a visual freelance curator and a musician. She studied at the University of Bedfordshire’s School of Media, Art and Design and received her masters from the Visual Culture and Literary Theory Department at the University of Szeged, where she was a visiting lecturer after her graduation. She is currently the associate director of VILTIN Gallery, beforehand she was the artistic director of Ani Molnár Gallery and the assistant curator of Nessim Gallery.
Her field of research includes the history of anatomical illustrations and body representations, social construction of gender and the relationship between the body and its prosthetics in the digital age, all in the light of the interdisciplinary aspects of contemporary art.
