Mădălina Surducan

Mădălina Surducan (born 1991) lives and works in Cluj-Napoca. She has a degree in Graphics from the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca and graduated from the master's program "Philosophy, Culture, Communication" from the Faculty of Philosophy, UBB Cluj. She has a PhD thesis in the philosophy of contemporary art entitled "The Status of the Contemporary Artist in Art Capitalism: Between Critic and Superstar" (2022) at the same university. In the 2015-2016 period, she worked as a curator in the Șoimii Patriei gallery in Cluj. She currently collaborates with various cultural publications and deals with cultural mediation, in 2023 becoming a collaborator of ArtCrawl Cluj.
