Adriana Trancă

Adriana Trancă is a curator, researcher, and writer who completed a BA in Linguistics and one in Art History at the University of Bucharest (Romania) and an MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is currently Assistant Curator at E-WERK Luckenwalde, 30 minutes south of Berlin, the world’s first arts institution powered by its own production of 100% CO2 neutral energy (Kunststrom). At E-WERK Adriana is contributing to the realisation of the Sun & Sea beach-opera by Rugile Barzdziukaite, Vaiva Grainyte, and Lina Lapelyte, in collaboration with Berliner Festspiele and Gropius Bau. She is the curator of The Archive Show (1.05 – 18.07.2021), a performance programme inviting six contemporary artists (Jenna Sutela, Henrike Naumann, Keiken, Lauryn Youden, Lamin Fofana, and L.
