Gábor Ébli, born in Budapest in 1970, PhD, works as Associate Professor at the Institute for Theoretical Studies at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, serving as Head of the MA programme in Art and Design Management. Fields of research cover international issues of museology and of the history of private collecting in the field of modern and contemporary art, with books published in Hungarian on these topics. Long-term scholarhsips abroad: Germany, USA, Australia. Current research focuses on the canonisation of contemporary art in public collections in Eastern Europe since the fall of the Iron Curtain.
