Mihaela Cîrjan

Mihaela Cîrjan / Michelle Panthère is an independent interdisciplinary cultural worker based in Bucharest, co-founder of several local initiatives such as the MATKA Association, Malmaison Studios, Triumf Amiria, the Museum of Queer Culture[?], Satelit, and the initiator of the Rezidența21 platform. Their practice focuses primarily on creating collaborative curatorial contexts and artist residencies based on knowledge exchange, as well as research in the fields of feminist, queer, decolonial, and posthumanist critical theory.
